About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and self-sufficient Electrical Engineer to join our clients manufacturing factory in Carlisle. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving industrial equipment, ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repair on a range of industrial equipment and automation systems.
Support and drive continuous improvement of production processes.
Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to minimise downtime and optimise performance.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

About You

Qualified Electrical Engineer (HNC/HND or equivalent).
Strong understanding of industrial processes, automation, and control systems.
Proven experience in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical equipment within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices.
Able to work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, reliable, and proactive in approach.
