The team at GCS has just returned from Construction Week 2025 at ExCeL London, and we’re pleased to say it was time very well spent. The event brought together the entire construction supply chain, offering valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities shaping the industry today.

Over the course of the event, we had the opportunity to attend panel discussions, explore new products and services, and connect with professionals across multiple sectors of the built environment. Sustainability, digital transformation, workforce development, and modern construction methods were major themes this year—and rightly so.
As the sector continues to navigate skills shortages, regulatory pressures, and the push towards net zero, it was refreshing to see a focus on practical innovation—not just technology for its own sake, but solutions that are truly fit for purpose on live projects and in the day-to-day reality of construction.
